Mud, Stone, and a Little Warmth
Twelve rooms around a central courtyard, built in traditional Spitian mud-and-stone construction and finished with contemporary comfort — heating, hot water, and honest daylight.
About Ochre
Ochre keeps the bones of traditional Spitian architecture — thick insulating walls, small deep-set windows, flat roofs — because they work: mud and stone hold the day's warmth through cold nights better than most modern materials at this altitude.
Onto that base we've added what makes a stay comfortable rather than merely authentic: proper insulation, reliable in-room heating, attached bathrooms with hot water, and honest, well-made furniture from regional workshops.
